ummm life update i guess
this might work better in point form
- spent an entire summer in newfoundland and worked as a receptionist at a campgrounds and pm just talked to little old ladies all day. job was okay, but newfoundland sucked and made me miserable as fuck
- moved to halifax (made the trip with the bff, so that was all right). i got put in the all girls' residence. things are interesting (not sure if that is the word i want to use). i hate girls
- stopped going to school about two weeks in due to extreme amounts of social anxiety and depression. i barely leave my room anymore. i have an appointment today, though, so hopefully that will help with things (probably not, but i will try). i'm still doing okay in school, as far as i know. i've been doing my readings, so i feel like that counts for something
- had kyle over for the weekend and saw "where the wild things are" which is seriously the best portrayal of childhood ever. spent too much money on clothes (got a new wardrobe, though). bought my little cousin (not so little anymore. she's 11) a birthday gift, and am working on sending it before the month is over
- halifax pop explosion is this week, so i get to see crystal antlers, mates of state, cadence weapon, final fantasy, mstrkrft, girl talk, and japandroids. excited as fuck
- like everyone else, i have stopped using the internet
